Hardwick & Co., a proud staple in American-made menswear, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Store Manager to lead our retail team in Cleveland, TN. Position Details:

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Hours: 30–40 per week

Work Location: On-site in Cleveland, TN

Schedule: Flexible, evenings/weekends off available

Training Provided

Key Responsibilities:

-Leadership & Team Development

• Supervise, coach, and motivate a small retail team
• Set and achieve individual and team sales goals
• Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and staff development

-Sales & Client Experience

• Drive sales through high-level customer engagement
• Lead by example through active selling and styling
• Train team members in upselling and personalized service

-Store Operations

• Oversee daily store functions: opening/closing, merchandising, cleanliness
• Manage inventory, conduct stock counts, and restock merchandise
• Ensure compliance with retail procedures and loss prevention standards

-Business Development & Reporting

• Analyze sales trends and KPIs to maximize performance
• Generate sales reports and share results with leadership
• Support local marketing efforts and community engagement

-Technology

• Operate POS systems and train staff on retail technology
• Maintain transaction accuracy and data integrity

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3–7+ years of retail sales management experience
• Strong leadership and customer service skills
• Proficiency in POS systems and retail operations
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and operate cleaning/safety equipment
• Must be able to commute to or relocate to the Cleveland/Chattanooga area
• Able to work flexible shifts, including 12-hour night shifts and holidays as needed

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Previous experience in menswear or boutique retail.
