Event Description:
Our May Women’s Council programming will center on the Critical Conversations we all have with our employees. Joyce Jones, CPC, CMPE, Practice Administrator with Surgical Associates, will discuss why, when unemployment is at its lowest, energizing and engaging your staff/workers should be at an all time high. Having employees who are “bought-in” will increase production, loyalty, and reduce manager’s stress. There are so many fun ways to engage your staff creating higher morale and fewer reasons for them to jump ship for a few extra cents.
Mrs. Jones has been the practice administrator with Surgical Associates for 39 years. She is a Certified Professional medical coder with the AAPC and helped start our local chapter. She is a Certified Medical Practice Executive with the Medical Group Managers Association and was instrumental in starting the local group. A mentor with the Tennessee Achieves program, Joyce is a past recipient of the Chamber’s Athena Award, a Leadership Cleveland graduate and current facilitator, MGMA Practice Administrator of the Years and has served on the Chamber Board.
She is married to Bob Jones and has three children and 2 grandchildren.
