Women's Council: "Lead in . . . Volunteer Opportunities "

Do you lead by example? By walking your talk, you become a person others want to follow. This year’s Women’s Council quarterly programs have centered around the theme of “Lead in . . .” The series will conclude with a noon luncheon on Monday, Dec. 3, featuring Tanya Mazzolini, from the United Way of the Ocoee Region, speaking on Leadership for Women in the volunteer arena. 
 
Ms. Mazzolini is a native of Bradley County and attended Lee University, with a major in Accounting. She received her license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1990.  Currently, Ms. Mazzolini serves as Chief Financial Officer at United Way of the Ocoee Region.  Prior to being employed by the United Way, she served in multiple volunteer leadership capacities for the organization which included: Panel chair, Campaign co-chair, Executive committee member, Board member, Board chair and Board treasurer.   Additionally, Ms. Mazzolini worked locally at the Life Care Centers of America headquarters for 32 years, where she served as the Vice President of Accounting.
 
She is married to Dr. Michael Mazzolini who currently serves the Life Bridges community and Legacy Village in Cleveland. They enjoy biking, astronomy, and traveling.  Together, they have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
