Event Description:
The Women’s Council quarterly programs for 2018 will center around the theme of “Lead in . . . “
The first luncheon on Monday, Feb. 26, will feature Dr. Allison Pierce, a member of the faculty in the Lee University School of Business addressing Women in Leadership.
Future programs for 2018 will discuss Leadership in Business; Leadership in Public Service and Leadership in volunteer opportunities.
Before joining the faculty at Lee University Dr. Pierce most recently worked with Century Life Pharmacy developing a pharmaceutical business plan and has also served as division president for the central division of Sava Senior Care. Prior to this, she spent 10 years with Life Care Centers of America service as senior vice president of people development.
Pierce has won numerous awards including, the 2003 National Young Businesswoman of the Year and the 2003 Governor’s Outstanding Achievement Award for the State of Tennessee. She earned her PhD from Northcentral University and both her Masters and BS in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
