Event Description:
We are happy to be co-sponsors of this exciting up-coming event. If you or someone you love struggles with addiction, please make an effort to attend. This workshop has also proven to be helpful for counselors, pastors, case managers, social workers, mental health workers, nurses, etc.
Here’s a brief bio of the speaker: Tim Hilton draws on 25 years of active addiction, 12 years of recovery, and over a decade of experience in the drug and alcohol treatment field to deliver insightful presentations. Tim began honing his speaking skills in 2006 when he began his tenure with Bradford Health Services delivering didactic presentations for patients, families, and faculty. Since 2006 he has worked in a number of roles within the Bradford family including the coordination and presentation of a weekly three-day family education program. Most recently Tim served as the administrator for a year-long 12-step immersion program. Through these experiences Tim has gained greater insight into the dilemma of addiction as well as the process of recovery. In his current role as Community Engagement Liaison, Tim greatly enjoys the opportunity to educate patients, treatment professionals, civil servants and community groups.
