Event Description:
Red, Hot and Blue was originally arranged by Connie Gatlin to accompany a traveling Smithsonian exhibit of the same name in 2000. It was so well-received that the show was revisited a couple of years later to sold out crowds and is now revived and enhanced to highlight the 25th Anniversary of the Allied Arts Council of Cleveland. This musical journey takes the audience through a variety of selections that deal with elements of life in America – love, conflict, joy, heartbreak, journeys and patriotism. This performance does a wonderful job of showcasing local talent in some of the finest music of the history of film and theater of our country. Special guests include AVALON recording artist Jeremi Richardson and Chattanooga area news personality Greg Glover.
