"Portrait of a Bride, The Journey Forward" is a women's event that focuses on the ever-evolving history of the modern American woman, from the Civil War to the present. Leigh-Anne Brown will use between 20 and 30 gowns on display as a vehicle to discuss the educational opportunities, societal expectations, economic pressures and political changes that have faced American brides over the last 150 years. Tasteful Gatherings will provide food tastings for the ticketed event.
