Event Description:
Outside the north end of the George Mathis Student Center on April 9, 1992, the student body planted a time capsule containing artifacts and historical items to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the college. The time capsule is set to be open on April 10, 2017. The current student body will have a new time capsule to bury. Mayor Tom Rowland and members of the 1992 Student Government Association and student body will be on hand to help with this special ceremony. Come and see what the time capsule holds. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony. Sponsored by First Tennessee Foundation and the Cleveland State Community College Foundation Board.
