A unique chance to experience some of the history of the area will be available this weekend during the Cherokee Cultural Celebration at Red Clay State Historic Park. There will be dancing, singing, storytelling and Cherokee games the entire family can enjoy. One of the games demonstrated will be stickball, which will involve the Wolftown Stickball players from, appropriately, Cherokee, N.C. There will also be a traditional blowgun tournament with cash prizes. One of the highlights of the event will be by the Warriors of Ani Kituwah, a traditional dance group and cultural ambassadors of the Eastern Band of Cherokee.
