Event Description:
The 19th arts-in-education fundraiser, Chair-ries Jubilee: Going Green in ’17, will take place Friday, April 21, at 6 p.m. at the Museum Center at 5ive Points. The theme sets the stage for a time of recycling, repurposing, reimagining and reclaiming furniture pieces. The Allied Arts Council of the Chamber of Commerce annually presents Chair-ries Jubilee to raise funds to promote arts in local schools and in the community. The annual auction has raised more than $425,000 for arts activities in our schools and community since 1999. The event will include a silent auction, a social featuring area caterers and a live auction. Tickets are $25 in advance at either the Chamber of Commerce or The Red Ribbon, and $30 at the door.
